Nge LAY French, 1979

Nge Lay is a multimedia artist born in 1979 in Myanmar (ex-Burma) who seeks to express herself through installations, performances, photography and sculpture. 
 
Her projects are an intensely personal reflection of her experience of living in Myanmar society which reveals particular socio-political issues related to the notion of memory, education and gender.
 
Her artworks have been exhibited in several museums including the Palais de Tokyo (France) and Musée d'Art Contemporain de Lyon (France), Singapore Art Museum (Singapore) and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum in Japan.
