THE A2Z ART GALLERY ART PARIS ART FAIR BOOTH D15
Arts & Crafts, inspired by the English Arts & Crafts movement, explores the relationship between artists and craft skills. This artistic renaissance showcases works that honour the skills of yesteryear, bringing history and modernity together on the contemporary scene.
In Asia, contemporary art is inspired by ancient artistic and craft traditions, perpetuating know-how and attention to detail. Vietnamese and Japanese artists express this fusion of tradition and innovation, exploring social and political themes while celebrating cultural heritages.
Contemporary Korean art has also been evolving, blending ancient traditions with modern experimentation since the 1960s. Korean artists, like many Chinese artists, explore a variety of themes and techniques, reinterpreting calligraphy, ceramics and traditional painting.
For the 2024 edition of Art Paris Art Fair, A2Z Art Gallery is presenting four groups of Asian artists: Vietnamese and Japanese, Korean and Chinese. On the one hand, traditional artists and on the other, artists working with materials with an intense emotional quest, offering a diverse perspective on contemporary Asian art.
