A2Z Art Gallery is thrilled to announce Takashi Hara's solo exhibition, titled Blazing in the Universe, at the K11 Art Museum in Shanghai, from November 6 to 30, 2024, at the Shanghai K11 Art Mall, 300 Middle Huaihai Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai, China.
Without specific reference to neutral shapes, Takashi Hara, as a painter, draws inspiration from post-war abstract expressionists and produces predominantly abstract surrealist paintings where pig figures emerge from his unconscious. Takashi Hara thoughtfully places these twisted and distorted pig characters into various social situations, exploring themes that are universally relatable and significant to humanity. By channeling this energy to craft a narrative that speaks to society and by rejecting geometric shapes in favor of natural forms, the artist aims to create a visual impact that resonates with the emotional state of his audience.
